Year 4 have been learning about classification keys in Science. To bring our learning to life, we enjoyed a practical lesson by playing Guess Who? This fun activity helped us identify and compare observable characteristics, showing us how scientists classify and group living things.
We had lots of fun while developing our observation and scientific thinking skills! π 3 Likes
Year 1 have been busy planning and making their own delicious fruit kebabs, choosing their favourite fruits to create a healthy and colourful treat! π’
The children practised a range of food preparation skills, including safely preparing and assembling their fruit, and they all did a fantastic job. The best part? They got to enjoy a well-earned taste test at the end! π

This afternoon, our Nursery children took part in a fantastic Mini Sports Day during their P.E. session!
They enjoyed a variety of exciting races, including a running race, relay race, team race, egg and spoon race, and even a skipping race. Everyone gave their very best effort and had lots of fun taking part.
The children should be incredibly proud of themselves and the stickers they earned. Throughout the afternoon, they worked brilliantly as a team, showed excellent sportsmanship, cheered each other on, and most importantly, had a wonderful time!

After celebrating Mass, the children explored the Cathedral and deepened their understanding of the Catholic faith. We are incredibly proud of their exemplary behaviour, respect and reverence throughout the dayβthey were a real credit to St Bede's. π 14 Likes
They enjoyed taking part in a range of exciting activities, giving them the opportunity to explore the school, meet new people and experience life at high school. It was a fantastic day, and the children represented our school brilliantly with their enthusiasm, excellent behaviour and willingness to get involved.

The children experimented with a range of instruments to recreate the sounds of the seaside, using drums, glockenspiels, the Clatterpillar, and egg shakers. They listened carefully, worked together, and had lots of fun bringing the beach to life through music! π΅πβοΈ

Year 1 had a wonderful day at Smithills Farm today. They enjoyed tractor rides, donkey rides, meeting the animals and exploring the farm. Everyone had a fantastic time and came back with lots of smiles and stories to tell! ππ΄ 15 Likes
